Come to France for the objet d'arts, stay for the . . .

Of course, with all else that has emerged from France in the last weeks - presidential divorces, new museums, personality diplomacy in Chad and Libya, etc. - this struck me as the most "wow" inducing. James Lipton, host of "Inside Actors' Studio" once made his way in Paris as a pimp!

In many senses Moroc appears to be a Cancun for the Gauls and, indeed, there have appeared at every turn examples of the parkour depicted by Besson, though at heart it may prove closer to a Villon or Bresson. The musings on Sartre; the Panopticon and Stephen Jackson playing in a midnight league are all of interest here on these sun-baked (and urine drenched) streets.
